Náplň programu/oboru:
A graduate has the latest theoretical knowledge in the field of social or spiritual determinants of health and can critically explore and develop it. He/she has the skills necessary for his/her own empirical research and practical experience, he/she can formulate appropriate recommendations for the practice of other subjects. Professional knowledge: - Knowledge of social and spiritual determinants of health in the broadest sense, based on WHO health definition, orientation in relevant terminology and latest research results both in the Czech Republic and abroad. - An overview of the current topical issues discussed in the field in the academic community. - Knowledge of theories and concepts of socio-economic health inequalities. Professional skills: - Ability to participate in basic and applied research in one of the mentioned areas of health and to choose appropriate methodological procedures (quantitative and qualitative methodology, data meta-analysis, etc.). - Ability to define hypotheses, more precisely to determine research questions and individually analyse the results, to work with software for qualitative and quantitative data analysis (e.g. SPSS, NVivo) on user level within one's own research projects. - Ability to use international scientific network, electronic databases and to cooperate with international scientific community. - Ability to perform scientific work both individually and within a team according to the principals of scientific ethic. - To be well informed about invitations to apply for grants, to prepare and manage research projects. - To communicate qualitatively about results of one's work within a scientific community both in Czech and English, to participate actively in conferences abroad, to publish on international level (magazines in the WoS database or prestigious publishers).
