Students of the Mathematics bachelor study programme can continue their studies in the Mathematics MA study programme. They can also continue their studies or they can choose another similar discipline at a different university. The Mathematics bachelor study programme is realized in the following study plan: 1. Completus The aim of the Mathematics study programme is to provide education and expertise that enable its graduates to think individually and logically, abstract and mathematise real problems and solve the problems using both mathematical methods and computer technology. Further, the aim of the study programme is to train its students to interpret their results correctly. There are three pillars forming graduates´ expertise. They follow from the study plan structure. The pillars are the following: - Excellent skills in basic mathematical disciplines. - Mastering programming methods and work with mathematical software. - Ability to communicate in professional English, and general knowledge of developing trends in the field and other affiliated fields of science.
