Náplň programu/oboru:
The graduate programme is centered around courses Architectural Design and Urban Design, with a complementary selection of technical and art courses. In Architectural Design, the students, under tutelage of their teachers-practising architects, work on a specific project which incorporates various aspects of architectural practice. Urban Design teaches students the broad theoretical principles of development/life/design of an urban system supported with case studies. Many other courses work with a specific aspect of the semester project and, aside to the theoretical basis, introduce and develop practical aspects of the project. All courses included in the programme Architecture and Urbanism are compulsory. The instruction takes mainly the form of individual student-teach consultations: up to 50% of study hours, plus contacts and seminars and lectures. Given the small number of students in the year (max. 30), we have the luxury of a highly personalised approach to our students.
